Eldred Norval Clipperton son of Norval and Hazel, grandson of Robert F and Lettie (Smyth) Clipperton.
Eldred is next to left in back row. His father once made it clear that none
of his sons would fly an airplane.
Second Lt. Eldred N. Clipperton piloted a
B-17 bomber in 31 missions over Germany and Holland during WWII.
